Bab 86: Excruciating Awakening I

Lay Ming, the CEO of Spiritronics, apparently had something to say, so a shareholders' meeting was called. Lai had no idea why such a meeting had been permitted in the first place. Even more suspicious was how the guy, who had no shares in the company, managed to persuade the shareholders to hold such a meeting.

But all she could think was that it couldn't be good. It was clearly labeled 'Bad news,' and she was dead on.

'This man has completely lost it,' she thought a few minutes later, her mouth agape in shock after hearing the nonsense Lay Ming was spewing.

What? Bai murdered his mother on that fateful night? All evidence points to him? What was this bullshit? Of course, she knew about what happened to his mother because Bai had told her about that tragic incident a month ago.
