Sheng Ming: She still doesn't know how to control her power properly. So, her power is still unstable. Yet, she is releasing it without stopping. As a result, she already used up all of it and is now using her life force to continue attacking.

Ais's expression turned grave. She looked at Misdreavus and shouted.
Ais: MISDREAVUS, STOP.
Yet, Misdreavus didn't stop and kept on attacking.
Ais: MISDREAVUS.
Still, no response. Ais tried to put strength in her body to stand. But it was still extremely difficult. She was barely able to raise even her hand.

The sound of explosions continued resounding. Since Elvira had entered cocoon form, all Misdreavus attacks were useless. Nevertheless, she didn't stop and kept on attacking. She could feel her life slipping away from her body but still didn't stop.
Watching Misdreavus action, suddenly, Ais remembered Primis words.

{Ais: Hmm?}
{Primis: If you care for them then Pokémons are extremely loyal to their trainers to the very end. They would rather sacrifice themselves so that their trainer can live. So, take a good take of Misdreavus from now on. The stronger your bond with your Pokémon, the stronger it will become.}

Ais then gritted her teeth and willed her body to stand.
Ais: Grh!!!
An immense pain coursed through her body, but she didn't stop. The same could be said of Sheng Ming.

Blood was dripping from their bodies, but they ignored it. Their bodies were shivering. Their bones were cracking. Their tissues were being torn apart. Yet they didn't care.

By now the sound of explosions had decreased somewhat. Misdreavus was breathing heavily, and her body was shivering. She was reaching her limit soon. Her vision was blurring. It wouldn't be long before she will fell and die.

Finally, after hitting one last try, no matter how much Misdreavus tried, no more power came out. Hence, she fell.

Ais shouted before two bursts of power were released. The battlefield started to tremble.

Sheng Ming and Ais were standing now, and a huge amount of power and magic was coming from them. The wind was gathering around Ais while plants were blooming around Sheng Ming. They both were glaring at the cocoon with furious eyes.

Suddenly Primis who was fighting Moltres moved his head towards Sheng Ming and Ais location. Sensing the life and wind magic, he chuckled.
Primis: So, they finally realized it.
Ophis: Yeah. But they really took some time.
Ophis stood at Primis' side and answered while also looking in that direction.
Primis: Better late than never.
Ophis: If you say so.

A huge fire attack came at them, but they dodged it.
'Primis: I told them that our base stats have decreased to 500 because of World's Restriction. And that no matter what happens, we shouldn't reach Level 2. Otherwise, the amount of Excelia we will earn will decrease drastically. They both listened my words and didn't remove World's Restriction.'
[However, they misunderstood something. You said not to increase your Level. You never said not to increase your base stats. This means they can increase their base stats to max Level 1. And since the limit of your Permanent-Members are higher, at max Level 1, there base stats will be 2,000.]

Another huge fire blast was coming towards Primis. He smiled while looking at it.
'Primis: Well, I guess I will still give them a reward for their accomplishment.'

Midreavus who barely had any strength left in her, looked at her trainer one last time. Witnessing the power Ais was emitting, she smiled a little before darkness swallowed her vision and she fell on the ground.

Sheng Ming and Ais were glaring at the cocoon in front. Even though their strength had reached max Level 1, their situation didn't change much. Why? Because they were already at their limit. Both physically and mentally. Increased strength couldn't heal their heavy injuries and recover their excess blood loss. It also can't heal the mental fatigue they accumulated during their fight all this time.
Taking a deep sigh, Sheng Ming spoke.
Sheng Ming: Little Sister, even though our strength has increased, at most we can release one more attack.
Ais: What do you prefer, Sister Sheng Ming?
Sheng Ming: ......…...The defense of this cocoon is not that easily to penetrate. So, I will use my everything in the last attack. I hope it will be enough to destroy or open the cocoon. Once it opens, you finish it.

Sheng Ming: That's all we have right now, Little Sister. We must gamble everything in this last attack. And in case I succeed, you must make sure to destroy 'all' the hearts. Because if even a single heart remains in the end, it will be our loss.

More Life energy started radiating from Sheng Ming. She raised both her hands high in the sky. In the next second, countless roots came out of the ground and started merging together. Soon, a huge spear made up of life energy and tree roots appeared in the sky. Though it was releasing a lot of life energy, Ais could feel life-threatening danger from it.
'Ais: Is this Sister Sheng Ming's strongest attack? Even I could dread from it.'
Ais then took a deep breath. Again, and Again and Again before calming herself. Next, she closed her eyes for a second.
'Ais: Tempestas-Occidere.'

The black winds returned as Ais opened her emotionless eyes. All the black winds then started to converge and gathered around azure Lambent-Light.
Ais: I am ready.
Sheng Ming: Um. Then Let----
But before Sheng Ming could continue, they both heard a whistling sound and saw a huge heat source coming towards them.

They both widened their eyes as that fire attack rushed past them and hit the cocoon.
BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A huge fire explosion occurred before the entire place got engulfed in flames. Once the smoke and light dispersed, they noticed that the front end of the cocoon had been completely burnt to ashes and the countless hearts inside it were now open.
At first, they became confused.
'Sheng Ming: Why did the thing fighting with Husband and Eldest Sister attack the cocoon?'
'Ais: Could it have some kind enmity with Elvira? Or......'
Then as if realization struck them.
'Sheng Ming & Ais: Someone directed that thing's attack at the cocoon intentionally.'
They both hurriedly turned their heads towards the direction where the other fight was currently going on.
'Sheng Ming: Ohhh, Husband. I really love you so much.'
'Ais: You really give us the hand when we needed it the most, Lord.'
Both exchanged glances and nodded.
Sheng Ming: Ready Little Sister.
Ais: Yes.
Sheng Ming: Then Let's end this. GO.

Gathering all the power, the spear charged towards the cocoon penetrating through the air. The power contained in it was as if telling, this spear won't give life but took it instead.
Behind the spear, Ais was also charging. A spiral tornado was gathering around the tip.
Both attacks soon reached the center of the cocoon where the hearts were present.
'Sheng Ming: Hasta iudicii."
'Ais: Le Souffle"

Then attack the hits and a nuke explosion occurred.

Even those who were fighting on the other side stopped and glanced at the huge mushroom cloud that rose high in the sky. They only looked at it for a second before returning to their fight again.
Back to the battlefield.
The pieces of worms and hearts were scattered all around. Because of the explosion, the area was still covered in smoke and dust. Making it difficult for anyone to see through it. Inside the smoke, there were flickers of light at two places.
Since the cocoon and the hearts were destroyed, the entire place was covered in blood river. At one place, Sheng Ming and Ais were laying in this blood river completely unconscious. They hard used everything they had in that last attack.

A spark of life energy came out from both of their bodies. This was what was keeping them alive. In Sheng Ming case, as she's the Goddess of Life, her body was already receiving life energy from the world itself.
As for Ais, she was given Sheng Ming's blessing back in "Danmachi" world. That's why Life energy was also keeping her safe. Well, not only her but Misdreavus too. Before falling unconscious, Ais reached Misdreavus and hugged her tightly. That's why she was also getting protected while being in Ais's embrace.
With this, one of the two battles on this island finally came to an end.
