They arrived at an abandoned warehouse where he instantly peered through and found the suffocating miasmic energy around the place. The presence of blood and Depravity was apparent for Ryuu had this divinity and path. Rias peerage headed inside to investigate and kill the stray devil while he remained standing watching how they fought. He may not be the best fighter considering his fighting style is unorthodox and twisted that is described as formless. Everyone in Rias's peerage had a tragic life and held back this trauma. Perhaps, Ryuu would be the same considering his trauma about his brother's death.
However, it was fortunate that he eventually felt how petty it was for him and decided to just rule over earth instead to stop people's debauchery and focus on the stars. He may be viewed as a tyrant but his aim is unification similar to Mu Siyun from Iron Ladies.
"I can see that they're quite capable fighters but holding back. Have you tried talking to them about ``you know what?"
Ryuu whispered to Rias while the others tried to find the stray devil even though he had already found it but decided to remain silent to let them show how capable they are after their training with Grayfia. It was clear that training wasn't enough for them to grow even stronger and held by their fear and anxiety.
"I've tried but it is difficult to bluntly tell them about everything. I don't want to hurt their feelings especially after what I know."
She clicked her tongue in frustration and felt powerless to help them fearing that it would make things worse if she tried being forceful. Ryuu smiled seeing how much she cares for them and annoyed the fanfiction he read making her look incompetent and just shitty character when in actually she's careling and loving person only burden by being responsible, showing her worth but also enjoy her youth.
He couldn't help but pull her closer and patted her head before kissing her forehead, calming her down. It was clear that she was stressing herself from trying to help the others. Rias was taken aback by his action but enjoyed the warm feeling and felt at ease.
"Do you feel better than now?"
"I do, thank you."
"Good. Don't worry, I'll try talking to them since I've decided to train all of you."
They could easily grow stronger by conquering dungeons within his [ Dimensional Room ]. Though, the first thing they'll need to do is face their problem before advancing. It would be troublesome if they keep hiding themselves from the truth rather than face it.
After a while, the group finally found the stray devil which was both speedy and tanky. Ryuu watched them combat their enemies showing the lack of coordination. The stray devil moved trying to punch Koneko but she easily did the same and canceled the attack before punching once more while Akeno used her lightning trying to fry it while moaning in delight as she sadistically tortured it. Ryuu was the same when it comes to his enemy endlessly torturing them because his power as someone in Depravity.
Those poor souls are currently imprisoned in his realm of slaanesh with the [ Warp Inner world ]. He shed no pity when there were nothing more than monsters and would eventually just turn into screaming and moaning flesh. The fight continued where Kiba moved in blinding speed but his sword slashes lacked power behind them.
'He relies too much with his sacred gear while Akeno and Koneko hardly use their full power. Kiba lacks technique and power, Akeno needs more control in managing her energy while Koneko needs to use her innate power as nekoshou.'
While there others were busily fighting, unaware that there was just one stray devil rather two of them and the other was indivisible, slowly approached Ryuu who seemed vulnerable. It was at that moment, the stray devil felt immenses dread when he turned around revealing his glowing red eyes and was entangled by black tendrils. The others were surprised when they saw Ryuu with black tendrils holding a stray devil. Rias was baffled that something was lurking in the shadow.
"Trying to sneak up on me is rather a foolish idea."
Ryuu said before snapping his fingers causing the blood within the stray to pierce its body inside out. He absorbed the blood to analyze and add it to his library of monsters. Rias peerage was shocked how easily he defeated the stray devil while Akeno seemed aroused more than anything. After a while, they cleaned up and headed back to the occult research club.
"What did you do to the stray earlier and how did you find it so easily?"
Kiba asked, considering his senses should have picked up the stray devil's presence and was baffled how he easily caught and killed it. This made it extremely clear that despite his appearance isn't someone to take lightly.
"It is my power and what that is…well I'll just keep to myself. Putting that aside, I must say that you seem to lack the proper training of the blade and rely on speed more than anything."
"Are you suggesting that I shouldn't rely on speed and improve my sword technique?"
"Exactly, you already have great speed and now lack power. Try improving your strength to balance things out."
"Hey, what about me, Ryuu-kun!? Do you find anything that you can HELP me with??"
Akeno moved to press his breast to his arms while speaking in a seductive manner much to Rias displeasures that made her queen teasingly smile enjoying her reaction.
"Pervert Sensei."
Koneko muttered looking at Ryuu who wryly smiled, never expecting to be called a pervert when Issei is the one who should have the title.
"Well you waste too much energy when using your power and need some training in regards to your control. Furthermore, I can see you and Koneko are heavily holding back…as if you're afraid of using your power "
They flinched after hearing his words that were far too accurate to be coincidence causing Rias to frown knowing that this is a sore topic for them but trust Ryuu that he wouldn't hurt them or push too much.
"It's okay that you don't tell me but I'm just suggesting that you should come to terms with it before it's too late."
With that they deeply thought about his words. They headed back home as it was already dead of the night and Ryuu headed back home. He arrived to find them with Ophis, who was eating some sweets. His woman saw him arrive and welcomed him with open arms.
"Hey Ophis-chan, I want to ask you something."
"What is it, Ryu?"
"Do you know where Rizevim is? I've been trying to find him for several days now."
He had been scouring the whole world, even the pocket dimension but hadn't been able to see the white haired bastard. Ryuu wanted to end the mission quickly to focus more on hunting some women. The one's he found were the hero faction and Alliance of hell.
"I don't know."
"....as expected."
She hardly pays attention unless it's about silences or sweets. Ryuu could only hope to eventually find him and devour his soul in hopes to increase his power. He had been spreading his guidance through the minds of humans and other races alike that would eventually pave the way for him to find Rizevim. After a while, he had dinner with his family and had some endless nights.
Few days had passed, Ryuu and the occult research club got to know each other, becoming much closer than before that they were able to share things about themselves. Though, it usually ends where Akeno and Rias bicker who get to sit on his side but Koneko takes his lap and eats his sweets. They were surprised by her action but none refused her, even Ryuu who only pampered her even more.
"I didn't expect for you to meet her instead of me, Kie."
Ryuu was looking at a young blonde girl who seemed anxious to be there but was calmed down by Kie's motherly vibe and holy atmosphere. The person before him was none other than Asia Argento. He couldn't help but think that the two were so much alike.
"I bumped into Asia who seemed lost and saw her heal someone that I felt that something was up."
He nodded looking at Asia who was quiet and nervous around new people after what she experienced being abandoned. Ryuu could see how kind even more than Kie, unable to discriminate. Ryuu kneels down looking at her eye to eye before patting her head surprised by the gesture.
"Hello, I'm Ryuu and Kie's lover. You don't need to worry about your safety here and I won't let those fallen angels hurt you."
