Bab 108: You and Her

I sat leaning against the head of the bed in Bambang's room. For the past few days I've been staying at his house because I was avoiding Gepeng who kept coming looking for me at home.

 The owner of the room could only relent and was forced to move to another room because I'm sure he didn't have the heart to kick me out.

 I tried to close my eyes. Am I being selfish for not telling Gepeng about the Gita sooner?

 Now my fear has come true. Gepeng immediately went to find Gita as soon as he found out.

 Really, this hurts. I recently had a boyfriend and felt how beautiful it is to have someone I love and care for. Why did I have to lose all of that in such a short time?

 My chest became tight remembering Gepeng who immediately walked out of my room to look for Gita the other day.

 "Well, don't cry!" said Bambang, who was standing in the doorway with his arms folded across his chest.

 The man then walked slowly towards me.
