Bab 79: ruined self-esteem

"Don't you want to taste love? Form a family of your own and have children?" Adam said standing beside her but while maintaining a good distance.

"No, I don't want to ruin someone else's life. I know that I am not mentally sane. What if I end up treating my future husband and babies just like how I was treated? What if I lose control one day and say something that might ruin their self-esteem?"

Her doubts told a story itself.

"Who ruined your self-esteem? Who snatched away your precious childhood?" Adam asked.

"Her," one word left her mouth yet she didn't tell what happened, making him curious.

A chuckle left her mouth as if thinking about that same situation that got her here today.

One day the king called his entire family to eat together.
