Bab 120: Beautiful

When Valerie was walking out of the company building, she looked at her phone, wondering why Lucian hadn't contacted her the entire day. He left home early in the morning as well.

Deciding to give him a call, she was about to click on his name when she realized that there was an incoming call from him. The coincidence brought smile to her face.

She received the call.

Before she could happily greet him, she was met with a groan filled with pain released from the other side. This got her to immediately frown.

"Valerie, you there?" She heard the struggle in Lucian's voice.

That instantly got her alarmed, her eyes widening as a result.

"Lucian? What's the matter with you? Are you alright?"

"Yeah, totally fine. Breathing and alive. Just want to see you," he stated, "can you get here?"
