Bab 44: Tricks Up Her Sleeve

When Lucian finally pulled away, Valerie was entirely a mess. She appeared as she tried to wrap her head around everything. She wanted to say something but couldn't find the strength to do so.

Weakly, she ordered, "Leave."

Her emotions were being turbulent now. She knew that she would do something horrible to Lucian if she couldn't control herself or there were chances of Rye appearing due to how overwhelmed she felt at that moment.

Lucian, however, didn't listen to her words.

"Want to abandon me after taking advantage of me? Wouldn't that make you a scumbag?" Lucian raised one of his eyebrows.

It was Lucian who initiated the kiss, and now he said those words.

Nonetheless, Valerie didn't spare him a glance as she scoffed and opened the door before leaving. As she stepped out of the car, Lucian hurriedly got out and caught up to her.
