Bab 30: Taken Away

As the car drove out of the neighborhood, the garage burst into flames, and at the same time, fireworks filled the night sky as it bloomed with various colors. It looked like a joyous occasion.

Of course, it was for Rye.

One day, surely one day, she will have Arnold Davies explode just like his collection. For now, she had to deal with him exploding in anger.

"Billions and billions worth of car gone. It would have been really better to steal them," Alexander spoke in her earpiece.

"It's pretty," Rye commented, "give Jane a raise."

"Again," the youth on the other side whined.

Then, he questioned, "Are you going to leave it at that?"

"How is that possible? This was the payback for ruining my car. He still hurt my precious Lucian," Rye said.

"Aren't you afraid he will doubt? After all, it is a little too obvious."
