Bab 365: Miss Aimee

Arielle made sure that her appearance was proper enough to meet Kael's sister. Lucas said Miss Aimee had arrived, and she was waiting in the reception room of Whitethorn Palace.

According to palace protocol, if it was a guest of the king, then the person would be invited to the Blackthorn palace. Whereas if it was a guest for the queen, then the person would be invited to the Whitethorn palace. 

Even though Arielle had not officially become a queen, her status as the king's fiancé had allowed Arielle to do so. 

When she left the Blackthorn Palace, a man was waiting for her. Lazarus was standing in front of the palace pillars.

"Good afternoon, Princess," he greeted.

"Good afternoon, Lazarus! You didn't join William to accompany His Majesty?" Arielle asked in return for the man's greeting.

"Oh, no-no. I'm here to ask your permission to join you."

"Join me?"
