Bab 300: Holding Baby For The First Time

Ronan was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the baby's whimper had subsided down and was replaced by a little chuckle. He sharpened his ears and was curious when he heard Arielle's voice asking the baby to talk. Without turning his chair, Ronan peeked at her from the back of his fairly large chair. 

"That's right ... a good child will become very beautiful when she laughs," said Arielle while shaking the little hand. "Hmm? Hungry? Just a minute… Uncle Lucas is preparing the food for you."

Ronan narrowed his eyes as the little hand that was grabbing Arielle's flowing hair. 

(That's not fair. She is mine) He grumbled.

Arielle laughed excitedly when she saw the baby trying to eat her hair. "No… this isn't food. Wait a little longer. Try calling Uncle Lucas…"

"Uncle Lucas… where is my food?" called Arielle in a small voice, imitating a baby's voice. The baby laughed loudly as if what Arielle said was very funny.
