Sasha immediately waved his hand, "No, Princess, I'm not mad at you at all. I'm only mad at Lazarus. I actually felt really happy when Lord Kael said I got my first royal duty to look after you in the South later but… AARGH! Just remembering that guy's face already pissed me off."

Arielle chuckled softly. Lucas had finished loading all the bags as Arielle turned towards the Blackthorn Palace with a sad expression. Did Ronan not want to see her one last time?

Just as Arielle was about to get on the carriage, someone cleared his throat from behind. Arielle turned her head and her smile widened as she saw the person she was looking for. He had appeared in front of her and walked closer with William following behind.

"Don't want to hug me before you leave?"

"I thought you were busy," the girl said quietly.

Ronan spread his arms, and Arielle ran into the man's arms.
