Bab 188: The Scared Lazarus

"What did you say, Lucas?" asked Arielle in surprise.

The girl left the bench and ran fast towards Lazarus, who was being crushed by the giant wolf.

Lucas smacked his mouth, feeling guilty. He enjoyed the sight of Lazarus so much being beaten by his king that he forgot that Princess Arielle wouldn't let anyone get hurt. The man also stood up and ran after the princess to help Lazarus.

Lazarus had given up. He couldn't move. Defeating Ronan in his human form alone was already very difficult, let alone when he transformed into a giant wolf like this. Both Lazarus' hands were held by the big wolf's body. It was very difficult to even breathe.

"Ronan… I was… just fooling around," he said in between gasping breaths. "I wasn't serious... pleaseee..."

Ronan didn't give Lazarus a chance to move. His sharp claws were only inches away from the man's neck. Ronan opened his mouth to bite Lazarus' neck…
