"S-sorry, I didn't notice," Arielle stammered. She shyly looked away, trying to hide her flushed face.

With her leaving his lap, Ronan felt the source of his warmth had gone. He sighed in disappointment as the cold air hit him. Even the fire in the fireplace grew smaller. The atmosphere was now getting colder.

Ronan walked into a smaller room with rows of clothes there. The man chose a loose black tunic with black pants made of satin. He put them on quickly.

The king returned to his room and saw Arielle, who was still faithfully standing against the wall.

"We can talk now," the man said as he sat down on his bed.

Arielle turned around doubtfully. Her face was still bright red. Arielle did not dare to approach because she was afraid that what she was about to say would make their relationship awkward.
