Bab 54: He Keeps His Promise

Arielle quickly closed her eyes, and waited for Ronan to let go of her face. Her hands dangled at either side of her body, feeling stiff. Her legs also had to be on tiptoe because the man wrapped one of his hands tightly around her, which made both of their bodies pressed against each other. 

Ronan then pulled his face away and smiled a little when he saw Arielle's eyebrows furrowed. He saw that her eyes were tightly closed. His thumb stroked the blush on Arielle's smooth cheeks.

"I missed you," said Ronan casually.

Arielle opened her eyes slowly. Her heart was beating so fast now, and she didn't know how to respond to the man's words. The princess pursed her lips, then lowered her head. Her face felt so hot. 

Arielle felt embarrassed to be watched from this close distance.

Ronan really wanted to hear the girl's voice.

"My business is done on time. Now is the time for me to keep my promise."
