"Don't want to," I mumble, turning on my side. "Five more minutes."

"Hmm, I remember hearing that every day when you and Dylan had to go to school," The soft, gentle voice sounds so amused by what she's saying. But, wait, I know that voice! "I also remember the two of you having to rush to school on time every morning. Which is why we started buying pop tarts."

"Mom?" I sit up, my eyes snapping open. I nearly hit her face from the speed I moved, but she simply pulled away so we didn't clash. "Oh, fuck, I'm dead!"
