"Luke, I need you to watch Nefera. Vince, come with me." I could barely move, but I had to do something. Dylan wasn't playing around, and if Steven and the others weren't keeping him distracted, he would've already killed Fletcher. 

"Last time, it took all three of us to take him on, and Nefera had to stick her hand in his mouth to stop him," Luke gets up, taking my mate from me. "He's at full strength now."

"I know," I struggle to get up, my legs feeling like jelly, but at least I can move. The pain was gone, which was good, but it was still difficult to breathe without wheezing. "Hopefully, no one has to lose a hand."

"You think he'll listen to you?" Of course, Luke already knew what I was about to try. But, honestly, I wasn't sure. So far, only Nefera got through to him, and he seemed to trust Andy, but the pack doctor had no luck convincing Dylan to listen.
