"Well," She shifts uncomfortably before going back to the chair. "You're right. William isn't yours."

"So, who's his dad?"

"My mate," she huffs, irritated that I called her out. "I've been pregnant every time you've seen me."

"Yeah, and I was supposed to buy he's mine? I thought you were a better liar than that. Or was I just that messed up?"

"I am that good, and yes, you were that fucked up." She counters, watching as I pace around the table. "I can't wait to meet this woman of yours."

"You might want to wait." Goddess, Nefera would eat her alive when she discovered who Naomi was. Not to mention when Kali took control. "Nefera doesn't play around."
