Aleia's pov
I stared at Theo, not saying anything to him. I wasn't mad at him anymore, but I wanted to keep some distance between us. It would be easier to not see him again. I had a life to get back to, and I am sure he does too.
"Say something," he urged me,
I sighed, "Theo, I admit, what you did hurt me. But I am not mad at you. I just think it's easier to go our separate ways without any fuss." I told him.
He nodded his head, but I knew he didn't understand what I just said. "That's okay. I completely agree"
I don't know why, but I felt completely disappointed in his decision to agree with me. He didn't even fight back or insist on seeing me again. This is it then? A proper goodbye breakfast.
We continued eating in silence, stopping when we heard the knock on the door.
"Are you expecting anyone?" He asks,
"Not that I am aware of,"
I walked towards the door to open it, and I was shocked at the person standing on the other side of it.
