So what if the spell did not work, there might be a chance that she had affinity to fire or other elements and they would work for her.

She patted the book as if trying to assure it that she was not going to abandon her and then closed her eyes with a sigh.

What was she even thinking! She was not a witch that could perform magic. In her excitement, she forgot the fact completely that she was just an ordinary human. Letting go of the pitcher, she looked around only to see him still looking out of the window as if he was watching a spectacular scene.
