Bab 91: I'll See You Soon

As Rosalind continued watching, she could recognize her father's facial expressions well enough to know that Izzy was successful less than an hour in. He was definitely curious about her as a person but wasn't willing to admit it yet. 

They kept checking to see if their phones were working but they had no such luck. Her battery died after two hours. His died after another three. 

During this time, Izzy did most of the talking but Julian contributed here and there when he had something that could deepen the conversation. It was clear he had never enjoyed talking to someone this much before based on the look on his face. That he hadn't even fathomed being able to enjoy talking to someone this much.
