"So what are you doing?" she asks, so he'd stop laughing, and she would stop dreaming of his lips. 

"Thinking of you." LORDS!! her heart literarily jumped at his words. He was crazy, he said the craziest of things at the craziest times. He really knew how to control her heartbeat. He could make it slow or fast, whichever pace he wanted her to go. He was in total control.

"Don't be silly," she says, trying not to sound like a girl that had been shot by cupid. "What are you doing really?". 

"Well, I already told you, I'm not sure what more you want me to say. You asked about what I am doing, and at this very minute, this second, I'm thinking of you, other than that, I'm talking to you on the phone." They both laugh at his words, with Isla burying her head in a pillow, trying to hide her blush, even though he wasn't there to see it. 

"You're crazy Damon" she chuckles, as she laid back on the chair, stretching her legs to their full length.
