Bab 74: Chapter 74
"The person we choose is Harry Potter."
Narcissa's brain completely stopped working when she heard this. She has to marry Harry Potter, a boy who is the same age as her son if she wants to get out of her marriage with Lucius.
She then looks toward Harry who is also present there, when she sees no changes on her face which indicates that he already knows about this and it makes sense that they already talk to him before deciding something like this.
Her brain starts to think that it is some sort of prank as Sirius is famous for his pranks back in Hogwarts, he will never try to set her up with a person who is the same age as her son.
When he saw that she was looking at him, he knew what was going on in her mind as it was all over her face. He wants to speak about this matter but he decides to wait as it is better if Sirius and Andromeda explain this to her.
"Don't tell me it is some sort of prank as it is the worst prank ever."
Narcissa said but to her displeasure, the room stayed silent which means that everything they said was real and not a prank. She becomes angry with this how can they suggest something like this? It will be going to ruin Harry's life if she decides to marry him as she is older than him pretty much the same age as his mother if she is alive.
"How can you say something like this, do you think I am going to marry someone who is the same age as my son? It will completely be going to ruin his life politically and socially."
"Cissy we decided this after thinking for a long time, we also tried to find an alternative but we were unable to find anything. This is the only option available through which we can get you out of your marriage and protect you from the Voldemort."
"Sirius you know that if I become Mrs. Potter then it is going to put Heir Potter into a bad position in the wizarding politics. The Dark families are going to try to remove him from Wizengamot and they are also going to get support from some Grey families. It is going to put House Potter against the Dark family and even with the support of House Black can't help as the House Black has not been active for over a decade and Minister is in Lucius' pocket so he is going to take favor of him instead of House Potter."
Sirius and Andromeda expected this type of reply from her but Harry didn't think she would reply like this.
He knows that she is going to protest as it is not a good idea to marry someone who is so much younger than her, but the thing that surprised him the most is she rejected the idea by saying that it is for his future.
He knows that she is probably thinking that if she becomes Mrs. Potter after marrying him then the Potter family is going to fight against all of the Dark families which is impossible to do because they have the majority. But what she doesn't know is that his other titles hold power above all the factions combined.
"Mrs. Malfoy, I am quite happy that you are thinking about me this much, but you don't have to worry about this thing as they are unable to touch me even if they tried. So, please tell me if you have any other issues regarding this proposal except for that."
Narcissa was shocked by his reply as she did not believe in how he behaved. She is thinking about how can the Potter family survive as they have also not been active for over a decade and are still empty as the Heir is underage.
"Heir Potter, we have a massive age difference which is not good for us as I don't think I can love someone much younger than me."
Harry then looks toward her and tells her what his father told him.
"I got this proposal from Sirius and Andromeda last night and after I heard about this, my mind went into chaos. I was not able to get any answer so I went and talked with my Parents portrait. My father said to me that I can marry you to free you and we can build our relationship as allies/friends instead of Husband/wife. We don't have to be obliqued to behave like husband and wife."
"But you are the last Potter.."
"You don't have to worry about this. I am not going to force you into this."
Narcissa still does not believe what he is saying but before she can do anything, he speaks again.
"There is something you should know about me if you are going to marry me which is also going to resolve both of your worries. But before I tell you this you have to take a vow."
Narcissa is curious about what he is going to tell him which is going to solve her worry. She takes the vow not to tell anyone about what he is going to tell her unless he tells her to do so.
After she takes the vow, Harry stands up from his position and introduces himself again.
"Let me introduce myself again Lady Malfoy. I am Harry James Potter-Pendragon Heir of House Pendragon, LeFay, Emrys, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Peverell, Potter, and lastly Black."
Narcissa then turns towards the other occupants which are Sirius and Andromeda to know what the hell is going on. Harry Potter boy-who-livid Heir of 10 Houses and above them he is the Heir of House Pendragon, LeFay, and Emrys which is the highest in the wizarding hierarchy.
She does not understand how can he be the Heir of this many Houses as it is probably out by now if there is a person who holds more than 10 Lordships or even one of the 3 Ancient Houses.
"Cissy I know what you are thinking about. We both are also confused as to how he gets these houses but Goblins said that it is the House magic who recognized him. As for how it is not out yet, it is due to the Goblins protecting the details until Harry is ready and decides to announce."
Harry then gives her parchment which he takes from Griphook to prove that he is telling the truth.
She took the parchment from him and started to read it. After she finished reading the parchment she started to scan it completely to see if it was original and had not been modified.
After she completed the scan she didn't find any problem with this, which proves that he is telling the truth.
