Ember Vance's amnesia dealt a heavy blow to Yusuf Zuck. Even though they were two close lovers, the awakened her didn't recognize him at all.

He saw the confusion and distress in her eyes and really couldn't bear to upset her further, so Yusuf Zuck left, departing amid the Vance Family's watchful eyes, feeling a mix of emotions.
