POV: Ei
Today is my 6th birthday, for most people it would be a happy day, but I cant help but feel conflicted. Aunty Aiko has been trying her best to stay happy, but I can see the sadness in her eyes. Because today is a day to celebrate birth, but it also is the day to remember my mother. This feeling is strange, I never really knew my mother like Aiko did, but I still cant help but miss her warmth.
'Enough sad thoughts' I say to myself, slapping my cheeks. On another note, today is also one of the most nerve racking days of my life. Why? You might ask. It is because today is the day my 'skills' will be unlocked.
I cant help but feel nervous, not only because of how they will react to my 'skills', but also because this is the day I'm supposed to meet my 'father' if you can call him that.
Crazy right? Which father out there waits 6 YEARS before meeting their child. Auntie Aiko keeps telling me he's super busy. But like surely after 6 years he can take a break and visit his child?
'Well, not that I care' I say to myself. Since he decided to detach himself from my life, I've decided to live for no one but myself. I cant wait to see him crawling back to me when he realizes his loss.
'kekeke-HAHAHAHA'
"Ei darling, stop with that weird evil laugh, its creeping me out."
"Yes auntie" I begrudgingly say, "Ruining all my fun..." I mutter.
"What was that?" she questions with a glare.
"Nothing Aunty!" I practically yell, as I hurry up the stairs to my room.
"That girl..."
"Head-Maid" a voice calls out.
"Go help her get dressed" Aiko tells the other maids.
"Yes!" they reply in unison.
Did I forget to tell you? I actually live in what I can only describe as a palace. I'm a bona fide Ojou-sama you know! I guess my father did something right, at least I don't have to go worrying about what I'm ganna eat. Anyways he assigned 5 maids to me to take care of the house, I don't really interact with them much so i call them maid 1-5.
Maid-1: "Ei-sama, its time for your bath."
"Y-yes" I call out. Man did I just stutter? I must be more nervous than I thought. I make my way to the bath as I see the maid is already waiting. Man if there is one thing I cant get used to about noble life is having someone bath you. Like why is she here? Surely I can manage bathing by myself. Well I am only 6 years old after all, maybe this is normal for every one?
POV; Maid-1
As I walk up the stairs I call out to my lady.
I hear a bit of shuffling in the room in front of me before I call out "Ei-sama, its time for your bath I hear a slightly stuttering voice, "Y-yes".
'OH MY GOD DID SHE JUST STUTTER, THATS SO CUTE' I mentally scream. Today I'm so happy, first I woke up in a good mood, then later I find out its my turn to bathe our lovely lady! How can a day get any better! Composing myself I head to the bath waiting for her. As she steps in, i cant help but be stunned, every time I see her she's cuter than the last! With her light violet eyes and her gorgeous dark purple hair. Just standing over 4 feet (121 cm) with her porcelain smooth skin. Ah! My lady is going to bring nations to their knees! This is so much better that being a maid for one of those crony nobles in the capital! Plus the pays good too! Am I in heaven? Tell me I'm in heaven.
My thoughts are broken when I hear a subtle cough. "Ah most apologies my lady, lets get you all nice and clean!" I declare, with burning passion in my eyes. I received only a nod as she headed into the bath. 'Ah what a wonderful life.'
POV; Ei
'What is wrong with this maid today?' I wonder. 'Maybe she caught a cold?' I think to myself after I leave the bath tub to go get dressed. Once again, waiting for me is maid-1, this time she brought along maid-2. I sit down in front of a large mirror as the two girls start using me like a dress up doll. After 30 minutes their finally done as i take a good look in the mirror, "Wow..." I mutter.
I must admit, they do know how to dress someone up. Damn, now I have another thing to be worried about, dumb perverts are ganna be flocking towards me like flies! On a serious note, I'm glad I have people to dress me up, my sense of fashion consists of a long black hoodie, baggie sweat pants, with tennis shoes. Probably not the best thing to wear while meeting the king for the first time.
The dress they put me in was a long white Victorian style dress, with a tinge on violet around the frills. While my hair is one long braid down my back with a purple butterfly hairpiece on my left side. Coupled with gold ear rings with an amethyst gemstone in the center.
(AN: I'm not very good at describing fashion, especially because I couldn't really find any reference material of Ei not in eastern style clothing. Anyways I hope its good enough, sue me.)
'Damn, I'm hot.' I couldn't help but think to myself.
"Well aren't you just a beauty, you're going to be such a husband killer when you grow up!" Maid-2 says while Maid-1 is strangely quiet. "Well you're all set my lady, allow me to walk you to the carriage" Maid-2 says holding out her hand. I take it as we start our journey towards the front of the estate where the carriage.
The carriage man seeing people approach him, begins to say, "Good evening my la-" before freezing. After a few second his professionalism kicks in as he helps me onto the carriage.
When I finally get in the carriage I cant help but let out a sigh, "I hope nothing too major occurs..." I mutter as I feel the carriage start to move signaling the start of my adventures.
