Bab 83: Text a friend (3)

Abigail looked up from her mobile phone and noticed that both Daniel and her grandfather were looking at her.  As she made eye contact with Daniel he asked, "What is your friend saying?"

"I am working on what they have to say."

"You know you have options?"

Abigail partially closed her eyes and looked at Daniel through her lashes and observed the concern on his face before opening them back up and saying "Can you understand that they do not feel like options.  I just want time."

Daniel nodded and quietly said "I get that, but we do not have much time."

Cole loudly added "Knowing my son as I do, he will act to force you into a corner Abigail.  You need to work this out quickly."

Daniel turned and snapped "Uncle Cole.  She can have the time that she needs.  I have sent a message to my assistant…"

"What have you asked Ralph to do.  You know you work him too hard."
