Bab 110: Your deception ends here

"You are cunning, "Callum said with a sneer. "If you wanna call someone stupid, it's me. A stupid who can't see your real face."

Calliope just smiled at him but didn't reply back. What was there left to say anyway? The rain wasn't stopping and she began to shiver. She sneezed and felt her forehead. Jane was going to kill her, she could tell. She seemed to develop a light fever. After fighting for death for months, her body had grown weak. She didn't know what she was going to do with this weak body. Maybe, leaving home was a bad idea. 

Callum could have walked away from there and never looked back at her. But did he do something like that? He didn't. He just didn't know how to walk away from her. As she sneezed and her colour turned pale, he panicked in his heart. He wanted to scold himself for being such a simp for her.
