Bab 71: Unreasonable

What Persephone failed to see was how unreasonably Amadeo was rejecting this guy. Then again, he had rejected all of those potential suitors without any reasonable condition. 

However, his dislike for Gabriel Hawthorne was immediate and deep-rooted. He just didn't like anyone belonging to the Hawthorne family!

Just sue him if they have any problem with his dislike. This was his attitude. 

"Amadeo, will you at least tell me what are you looking for in a man? How can you not like even one from this thick list I had made?" Persephone asked in shock. She just couldn't understand this boy's manner of working. Just what was he even thinking? 

"What can I say? None of them are good enough for my mama," Amadeo said with a shrug. His mother was one of the best women on this planet. It was obvious that he would seek the best man on the planet for her. That man didn't have to be perfect, he just had to be the best for his mama. For the rest, he didn't even care.
