A month… I'll have to endure seeing that damn bite on her for a month. Can I endure it? Huh, I better do something about it so it won't bother me or Jenny in any way.

"And her ability…?" Mother had beat me into asking that. I am curious too. Meredith then straightened herself then energetically answered, "Oh, you don't have to worry about that. The Alpha King is exaggerating. Although she does need a day's rest so I'm giving her a sedative that will let her sleep for 24 hours straight. When she wakes up, she might feel dizzy or need to pee which is both normal… May I…?" She gestured to give her the shot and both I and mother nodded.

She carefully injects the sedative and like a fresh breeze, her face turned peaceful. She was peacefully sleeping and my heart was a bit relieved.

"Okay, now we just need to wait when she wakes up then I'll explain our next move from there.".
