Xavier plunged into the centipede's weak point with his daggers, the moment he had reached the centipede was the moment his daggers reached it, both his daggers pierced the centipede puncturing into its weak point rendering it unable to move one bit, it wasn't that it was unable to move but, it was already dead, even before his daggers it was already dead, even before he charged down, his blast was most likely the cause of this, all this time it was slowly dying from Xavier's blast, his blast was far more powerful than it seemed to be, maybe this was due to the heat in the desert being applied to spell, in that case, Xavier was quite fortunate, it seemed the very heat that he despised came back to save him in the end. How could anything survive such a wide and gigantic hole in its body? Even the centipede could not, though it did have some life in it even after receiving such a powerful attack, maybe this was due to its thick hide.
