A few days had passed since the two sisters had settled in Aunt Virginia's house.
Adela received a message from Agnes about how much she was missing her, but she wished her to have a pleasant time with Aunt Virginia.
Adela missed her too. She wanted her near her, so one day, she gathered all her courage and asked Virginia if Agnes could come too.
"But of course she can come, Adela, she is welcome here. I like Agnes, she loves you so much and she is so smart. Today I will send Peter to your mansion to pick her up."
"Thank you aunt!" Adela answered excitedly.
Thus Agnes came to stay with them.
She was so happy and excited and promised to offer her help in the house in whatever they needed. All she asked was to be close to Adela and nothing else.
One day Virginia asked Adela and Emily to meet her in the small living room because she wanted to tell them some things.
