Bab 40: Chapter 40

The week that Francesca was cleaning the tower's upper floor was coming to an end. For the rest of the week, Francesca checked the boudoir drawer every day, hoping that her gift collection would get bigger, but she did not find any new box gift.

She continued finding only the comb and the box with the necklace in the drawer. She felt frustrated but couldn't do anything more. She knew well that she had no right to make any complaint.

The new week that entered found Francesca clouded over and in a bad mood. It was her turn to clean the downstairs, so she couldn't go to the boudoir when she knew that Mila was somewhere upstairs and could see her at any time. And of course, she couldn't reveal her secret about the gifts the doctor gave her. And then how could it be justified?
