Bab 78: Ch 68 – A Simple Life in Another World
Less than an hour later, I saw the forest fast approaching in the distance which is a few kilometers away from the capital, and by a few, I mean more than 100 kilometers away and it is definitely more than that.
"Whew!" I said while wiping away the sweat from my forehead and felt my stamina rapidly going back to normal and I knew that I needed more accessories because holy fuck, levels really make that big of a difference.
As I stand in front of the large forest of trees that are full of oak or something trees? That tree with a roundish head of leaves type of tree, but like the trees are gigantic, and it is a forest full of those gigantic trees, I'm definitely sure something is inside here, there's no kingdom near this forest and monsters probably roam about, so more fun for me.
As I looked at the sun high above the air, I entered the forest with the resolve of staying here for months on end with how op the fucking reincarnates are, I'm definitely sure she could have one-shotted me with her rifle if she wanted to, she could probably shoot a bullet that couldn't be dodge with how mystical her cheat is.
"Uwah, this forest really feels cozy," I said while walking through the forest with a grin behind my mask and walked around while the sun was covered by the roof of leaves.
"Now what should I do inside the forest? I've been hunting stuff for levels for the past week but now that I have no levels, skills are more important, so I'll probably make a house right now and just train my weapon mastery and combat mastery, wait… I can also train my cooking, just imagine my cooking rivaling that of the hero who can make magical food!" I said as excitement course through my body as fun new goals appeared in front of me.
With that goal in mind, I started to look around for an empty clearing big enough to build a cozy little home while also using my magic to make a field where I can see everything in it to look for some good spots to build a home.
After a few hours of looking around, my luck didn't seem to help that much because of how dense the forest is but after a while, I found the perfect place as if my luck was gathering its power to grant me a gift.
As I rushed through the dense trees, I was greeted by the sight of a waterfall and a river and also a large clearing, there are also fish on the river! It means I get a great view, the sound of the river and waterfall isn't a problem with runes and magic, and I have food!
"Nice!" I said while I gathered my mana and slowly controlled the earth, trees, and the surrounding area that is probably unimaginable to the natives of this world because that isn't how magic works, magic works by visualizing a spell and the result you want to make with the assistance of equipment like a staff and also chanting.
But what I am doing is controlling the surrounding area with magic, because No Attribute Magic is fucking broken.
As I slowly built a cozy house made out of the wood around me that makes it look like it was a tree naturally shaped into a little house, I also made a small little garden by the side and sighed at how satisfying all of this was.
I even debated on staying here for a couple of weeks and just enjoying my stay here.
"Now, I have a farm but no crops, how do I even get plants in the first place? Hmm, so there should be some potatoes or something similar around here, I should be able to find some potatoes" I muttered and remembered the random survival stuff I watched on metube from before and vaguely remembered the potato thing, it was so long ago even with my enhanced memory I only get vague recollections about it.
As I begged for my luck to do its thing, I walked through the forest near me and as if Lady Luck has heard my plea, potatoes did appear below my foot, there were even some mushrooms I found along the way.
And some onions, some sweet potatoes, and more as I got a large haul all to myself just from a couple of minutes of walking around the forest.
"Nice, I could plant 90% of my findings and eat the leftovers for a couple of days," I said while I carried my large sack full of delicious plants I could cook for lunch and dinner.
As I returned back to my small cozy cottage, I went on to telekinetically control the plants and put them on my small farm a few square meters in size and just fueled the ground with mana so that my plants will grow healthily and so that it can also grow faster, sigh, Louis is just so fucking overpowered.
"Whew! Farm done, now all that is left is to make a nice warm stew of vegetables and train my swordsmanship" I muttered and went inside my house while taking off my mask and grabbing a sphere of water along the way.
I then dump the water inside a wooden bucket beside me and carried it towards my kitchen because I could use the water to wash the plants.
After washing them for a few seconds, I grabbed them from the bucket and put them on top of my cutting board, and grabbed my very sharp knife specifically made for cutting and it felt like I was cutting through air when I chop the potatoes and chuckled.
*Chop chop chop*
As the resounding sound of a knife hitting the chopping board was heard, I finally finished cutting my plants and put them inside a pot.
As I floated the pot in front of me, I made a ball of fire under the pot and slowly made a stew out of my findings and after a while, the delicious smell of stew filled my house as I used magic in the process of cooking the stew to enhance the taste and smell.
"Mmm," I said as I took a sniff from my food and slowly scoop out some stew with magic and made it enter my mouth and was greeted with the delicious taste that I felt like I was going to another dimension as I swam in a pool of stew.
"MMM!" I said as I took another scoop and really savored the taste this time.
"Sigh, life in a forest is really great, imagine what it would be like if I was just a simple farmer enjoying the gifts of life," I said with a smile as I poured the stew onto a bowl and grabbed a wooden spoon from my spoon tray and walked out of my house to enjoy the scenery around me.
As the sound of the river passed by me, the sound of leaves ruffling filled my peripherals, as I heard the sound of bugs moving around, I made a chair behind me and sat down on it with a smile while eating my very delicious stew.
As I ate in peace while watching fish pass by the river, I really felt enjoyment from this simple life and after a while, I finished my stew and felt my stomach full.
"Become clean my dear bowl," I said as my bowl instantly became clean along with my spoon and floated it back towards the kitchen while creating a wooden sword in an instant with magic.
"Groan" I groaned and got out of my seat and grabbed the wooden sword floating beside me.
As I started to train my swordsmanship, I felt my progress increasing by the moment as I fixed some of my flaws and used that knowledge to better my technique.
I slowly cut out unnecessary movement, I made my blows more head fast and steady, and I increase my stability when using the sword.
And by the time I finished my training, the sun was already setting while I haven't even produced a droplet of sweat due to my enchantments and plop down on the ground with a smile while I opened my status.

"Oh, my endurance and agility are already B? Well, I did get desperate when I run away from Anastasia, it was like I was running away from the darkness when I was a child" I chuckled at how fast I used to run when I was a kid when I was turning off the lights in my room.
"Yawn, I think I should make dinner already," I said while looking at the setting sun in the distance obstructed by leaves and branches.
"Maybe I should get some fish today?" I said while looking at the fish swimming in the river in front of me.
"Why not" I muttered and slowly walked towards the river and with one swift motion, a fish floated towards me with a relatively large body, and with one swift blow, I poke my finger through its brain killing it in an instant.
"Sorry mister fish, I know you did nothing wrong so I'm gonna defy lady death and just duplicate you," I said as the fish got reverted back in time while also erasing the harrowing death it experienced and letting it roam back into the river as I got a big fat fish for dinner, I'm eating good tonight!
