Bab 52: 2.22 Bad Vampire [M]

The vampires lined up in a row similar to disobedient students who were disciplined by the teacher, trembling in fear and horror. The night was suffocatingly silent, they didn't even dare to breathe. All of a sudden, it was as if a spark of light had found its way through the dark. A figure with long, luminous silver hair and deep crimson eyes descended from the sky. In his embrace was a teenager who had his arms around the vampire's neck.

As soon as Lu Yizhou's feet touched the ground, the vampires instantly kneeled down. "My Lord!"

Theodore took in the scene, half mesmerized and half thrilled. He knew that Raphael was the Vampire King but it wasn't until now did he realize what it meant to be a king. Those vampires who would show their fangs upon seeing humans turned as meek as quails, not even daring to lift their heads. And Theodore who was carried in Raphael's arm felt a sense of achievement and superiority that made him feel more haughty and proud.
