Bab 190: Assessment (4)

"Good for them," Xeik commented as he took a token in hand and tossed the unconscious body of a young man in some nearby bushes. 

"We need one more token each to pass this assessment," Lili announced as she tied a token to her waist and stepped over the unconscious body of a young lady. She was in even worse shape than the young man Xeik had tossed away.

The two were looking at her with a bit of fear in their eyes. Lili shrugged nonchalantly, "that one had a mouth on her." Was her excuse.

The Bruno trio wasn't their only victim. Another group showed up belatedly, hoping to take down the tired, injured, and weakened winner of the confrontation. It was an obvious mistake as the raging Lili found them and beat them senseless. They were hoping for her to develop a ruthless side, but the change was a bit too drastic.
