Bab 137: 2 v 1

The explosion disappeared as soon as it appeared. IT was as if it never happened as there was no sound or shockwave. No one had to wait in suspense to see that Julian had greedily absorbed the energy released by the explosion before it could do any damage.

Julian seemed unabashed by all the unwanted attention he was receiving. He simply pointed his palm at the group before him and re-released all the energy he just absorbed as a wide range beam. Such an unexpected scene left all the onlookers speechless. 

Julian was obviously an Earth Sage, but the attack he just released was powerful enough to kill a mid-level Sky Sage several times over. Unsurprisingly, not even the ashes of the men were left behind after the beam passed.
