"Hello, this is the City People's Hospital. Are you listed as Miss Zhou Tong's emergency contact?"

Chen Enci's fingertips tightened around her phone. She hesitated for two seconds before answering, "...Yes."

The other party hadn't said anything yet, but she had a bad feeling.

"May I ask," she swallowed, "has something happened to Zhou Tong?"

"Yes, Ms. Zhou Tong has gone missing..."

After hanging up the hospital's call, Chen Enci redialed Lu Xing, "Xingxing, the hospital just called me and said that Zhou Tong has disappeared."

Lu Xing, who had been preparing to continue his tirade, paused and asked, "How did she disappear?"

"It's still unclear, but the nurse said all of Zhou Tong's belongings are still in her room yet she is not there." Chen Enci paused, then added as she headed toward the main bedroom, "I need to go to the hospital."
