Bab 253: Meera and Aarya

Lukas and Aarya waited in Jasmine's room for her to stop praying. She said all her prayers while kneeling in front of a glass of water and that statue with the shape of an elephant.

After a while, Jasmine finally stood up, and turned to both Lukas and Aarya. "Okay, we may go," she said with a smile.

Aarya then abruptly stood up. "Finally!" she said while stretching her body in a lazy way.

Lukas, meanwhile, watched Jasmine organizing all the items that she had used for her prayers. He was really curious to know what those were for.

Lukas then stood up when Jasmine was done. "Huh... Jasmine, can I ask you something?" he asked.

Jasmine then turned to Lukas and nodded her head to him. "Yes, of course," she said before smiling.

Lukas then looked at the statue of the elephant. "What's that statue over there? It is some kind of deity, right?" he asked.
