"Life partner," Yvo said, smiling and cutting his Noonim off again. "At that moment, I thought Noonim is someone who can be my life partner."
He watched as his noonim's smile freeze as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard.

Gypsy flashed him what he would like to call her "business smile." See how cold his noonim's eyes were?
[Yep, she's completely detached.]
"Yvo-ya, even real family members don't live together forever," Gypsy said, smiling even though her words were harsh. "But even if your real sister wakes up from her coma, you can still depend on me. I'll help you if it's within my power."
He couldn't help but chuckle. "Noonim, you sound eloquent even when you're fully aware that you're breaking someone else's heart. Stop hurting my feelings."
