Bab 50: The Source

The dealer looked down at Han with fear in her eye. REACH? Whar was that? She never even heard about them before!

"I don't know what that is! Please, I don't know what that is!"

Han narrowed his eyes and plunged the knife deeper into her neck. She shook slightly before forcing herself to shut up by biting her lip till she drew blood. He twisted his mouth to one side. He couldn't see any lie in her eye. It seemed she really didn't know anything about REACH.

"Then tell me everything you know about the apocalypse. How did the zombies appear?"

The dealer shook her head and Han threatened her by pressing the dagger even deeper. She started to cry and finally opened her mouth.

"I don't know!"

"You're lying"

"No, I'm not!"

"Then why did you hesitate? You know something. Tell me right now, or do you want to know what your intestine looks like?"
