His tone was far too serious. After saying that, he pushed Amelia Sanchez away: "I have something to do; I need to go out for a while. Please let my mother know that I won't be home for lunch."

Dark emotions clouded Albert Brown's eyes as he turned his back and put on his coat, filling the air with a heavy pessimism.

Amelia Sanchez was puzzled. Weren't her previous words okay? Why did Albert Brown seem so angry now?

The door slammed shut in Amelia Sanchez's face. She blinked, unsure of what she had done wrong.

She hadn't even been angry when Albert Brown had mentioned divorce. So why was he angry? She had just made a painful sacrifice for his future, and it wasn't easy saying those words.

Thinking back to Albert Brown's promise not to divorce just now, Amelia Sanchez was relieved.

Fortunately, at least they wouldn't be divorcing for now.
