Beau turned to look at Aida, his tone puzzled as he asked, "What do you mean?"

"Grandfather, how about this? You both go to Haverhead Hill, and I'll stay behind," she suggested. She saw this as the perfect opportunity to take control of the entire Collier family business. If both Albert and Beau were away at Haverhead Hill, she would have ample time and opportunity to firmly grasp control of all of Collier family's business ventures.

At that point, Aida would truly have the final say in the Collier family, even if Cielo managed to recover, he wouldn't have the qualifications to compete with her for the position of Collier family head.

"Aida, you actually want to stay behind?" Beau was unaware of her intentions and thought she wanted to stay behind to protect the family's assets.
