Everyone knew what Sean meant by that. He was preparing to withdraw his shares.

No matter what, these people were shareholders of the Empire World Corporation.

Even though they held very few shares (not even 10% of the total amount), some people might not even have 1% of the shares. However, the market value of the Empire World Corporation had already reached trillions, so even 1% of the shares were worth tens of billions!

These shareholders relied on these shares to receive dividends every year. It was estimated that they would receive hundreds of millions of dollars.

If they were in other industries, they would not be able to earn so much money even if they worked hard for their entire lives!

Connor's current actions would obviously harm their current interests.
