"Bro, who's the owner of that handsome car Volkswagen?" I tease Wisdom. He went to a junk shop last time.
"For Rackie." He replied happily.
My eyes widen. I turn to look at him if he was joking yet he was serious. "Whoa! I know that is some kind of gold but bro! Bro Wise will give something nicer than that."
"I remember that she likes to have Volkswagen." Wisdom said didn't even bother that I was bragging about the sports car that Wise will give to Rackie.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm going to restore this then I'll change the things inside."
I nod. After the car accident of our parents, Wisdom didn't restore any car before. "Okay, but that will eat time, you know… by the way, Bro Wise went to university, my class would be later. Can you give me a ride?"
"No need, just drive a car. There is a lot there. Your school is out of the way of my workplace." He said while busy sketching the car in front of him.
"Okay, how about my allowance?"
"It's on the top of the table in your room. Your allowance is for one week. Our bills are higher than usual."
"How can I make my allowance last for a week if I'll drive?"
"The payment for gas is included in your allowance that's why I said it's for a whole week."
"Okay, fine…" I commented. "Tss... can spend for sis-in-law Rackie but for his making his brother suffer for a week."
"Did you say something?" he asks with a warning tone.
"When will sis-in-law Rackie visit?"
"When she needs something… her sister Paint went here, she asks for repair for the car that Rackie used to race with the authorities."
"Did bro Wise see her?"
"Yes and wow, just wow! He really have a huge crush on Rackie's sister however he's too shy." He commented.
I laughed. "Look who's talking…"
"What did you say?" he ask while glaring at me.
"Bro, if you think I won't notice… but you like sis-in-law Rackie!"
"I don't, she's like a sister to me. If only you knew…" he said as if he was tired. "She's so clever than you when I was teaching her to drive."
I laugh again. "She's more of a man to me," I commented. "Is she a reckless or daredevil driver?"
He smiled. "I think she's the most daredevil driver I've ever met."
I crooked my forehead. "There's someone who's more daredevil than you?"
He chuckled. "I should admit, yes there is… you haven't tried to ride with her while she's driving. Wise and I could say that we don't want to ride in a car if she'll be the driver. I still remember, Wise cried, he was so terrified." I winced just by imagining how is sis-in-law Rackie being a daredevil? "But if you want wild rides, go ahead and ride the car she'll drive and you might enjoy it however if you ask me, I'm okay. I don't want to ever feel my stomach go upside down and lie down the whole day because I'm not feeling well."
I felt that my jaw dropped and I felt like my breathing stopped for a moment for me to be pale from what I heard. "I don't want to feel that, bro."
He laugh at what I said. "Take a bath or you'll be late!"
I look at the wall clock and I was shocked so I run to our house to take a bath.
"Bro, I'll go now," I said. He just nods as a response.
After I went into the classroom, our professor is not yet there. I walk towards my chair and then look outside the window. I saw my crush wiping her sweat. Ephesians Archangel is beautiful, she's a volleyball player at the school. I suddenly look at her legs; I crooked my forehead when I saw blood on her knee. Even if I want to come near her, she doesn't want to. If only I'm not afraid to have a knock on the head, I'm already right in front of her.
I remember the conversation between bro Wisdom and me earlier. I can't believe that Rackie's driving skills made bro Wise cry. I'm curious but also I don't want to experience though I want to know for myself.
It's been months since I last saw bro Wise, I can't ask him personally. It's Saturday today so chilling in the house.
"Don't you have an assignment?" Wisdom asks.
"I don't have any that's why I'm bored. Should I play with Sia?"
Wisdom glared at me. "Behave, Wit!"
I laugh. I know that those sisters were wild. "Don't label me with you, bro."
He sighs. "Youth nowadays are wild, don't do what they are doing. One more thing, don't be the first one to have a baby, you're too young!" here he is again and his sermon. "I'm telling you, I'm not going to tolerate your cleverness! I've been there and you'll regret it."
"Bro, I think the play you are thinking of is not the way I'm thinking of," I said as I shook my head. "Sia practices volleyball today so I'm thinking if I could play with her," I explained.
"Remember what I've said! You know how wild they are, it's wasn't just obvious!" it was so obvious from his tone that he became a victim.
I laugh. "Victim?" I ask.
"It's obvious, isn't it? Even Wise is also a victim. You know Wise for being strong but Zechariah made him…" he stopped, he was thinking if he'll say it or not. "…never mind!"
They are so close that's why I feel I'm out of place sometimes. Sis-in-law Rackie is the same age as Wise so they are also close.
"Hey! Wit, remember what I said! Don't get too close to Archangel sisters if you don't want to go home crying."
We heard some noise from the door that's why we turn to look. We saw Wise who was staring blankly and doesn't have much strength to support himself.
