I let out a sigh whenever I see Red staring and peeking at Rackie. He's a total fool, he's wouldn't be like this and hurting himself.
"Hey! You look like an idiot smiling alone." I said when I saw him going inside a café inside the hospital.
"Really?" he asks happily.
"Wow! Happy? Are you out of your mind?" I ask. He sighs as a sign he's defeated then smiles. "Argh! Dude, don't smile at me like that! It's creepy!" What kind of spirit did he encounter again? Yesterday he was about to cry because of jealousy, now? He looks like he forgot to take his medicine. "Should I call a mental institution for them to fetch you up?" I ask because he's creepy.
"Let's just say, my day is good today."
"Good day? Hey, remember Rackie almost lost her license when she did a good race with the authorities."
"That's not the reason." He replied. We finally reached the café. "Wait, don't you have work?" he irritably asked. "Whoa! The hospital is doing its job to—"
"Hey! Don't start a sermon, Red! I just finished major research." I stop him from talking. "Oh… I know, you won't act like that if you didn't have something good with Rackie." His smile widens. "You talked to her?"
He bit his lips. Oh, so easy to read… "Not only that, I was able to hug her." He happily said while blushing.
"Bro, don't make it so obvious, it might give other meaning from the other perspective," I whisper.
"I know, I just can't help it." He looked at his wristwatch. "I need to go, I'll tell you later. I'll go to your unit." He said then left.
I shook my head. This friend of mine fell in love hard with a girl that we all thought was boring. I smiled, I'm going to invite our friends so we can tease him.
*" WHAT?!" I almost get myself deaf from my yell when Red told me that he and Rackie broke up. "Why?" my expression and voice are full of confusion.
"I cheat." He said in a low voice which is sound like a whisper, it seems like I got deaf from what I heard.
"WHAT?" I'm shocked. "I thought, she's the one, bro? That Rackie is the one for you? What were you thinking and cheat?"
He looked away and he smiled bitterly. "I was able to enter another beehive and I wasn't able to wait for her." He sarcastically replied.
I tapped my forehead. "Bro, you were the one who said you will wait now suddenly found out you have someone else? Who?"
"Shine." He shortly replies with a low voice and almost whisper again but I was able to hear it which made me deaf again.
"You are out of your mind." I madly said. "Just for that?"
"I know it's shallow." He said.
"Bro, don't cry there! You aren't the one who was betrayed!" I yelled.
"Why are you mad?" he confusedly asks.
"Because the new spelling of foolish is R-A-D-I-A-N-C-E!"
We were in the middle of arguing about me being the reason of his cheating and even make my healthy mother to be his scapegoat for his heat if he can just take a bath when Cloud and Sapience came.
"Talk to him! He's so unreasonable!" I'm so furious with madness.
"Why? What happened?" Sapie asks.
"I don't know, I think he was possessed of lus—" I wasn't able to say what I want to say when I saw Shine with Cloud. My eyes noticed her stomach that she was caressing. I crooked my forehead and glared at Red. "You even got her pregnant?!" I yelled at him.
Red turn looked at me with eyes wide open. "Wait! That's not mine!" he defended.
"Denying it, the evidence is so obvious!" I point at Shine who's at my back.
He was so shocked and starts to count. "Like I said, not mine, Air! Yes, we slept within two months but if I impregnate her it shouldn't be that big!"
I heave a sigh. I was about to talk but I was stunned by Cloud letting Shine to sit. "The baby is mine." He confessed.
A deafening silence came over us. "WHAT?!" we simultaneously ask which made us all crooked our foreheads. What are my friends doing?
"The baby is mine," Cloud said again and he's proud.
"What is that, Cloud? Were you also possessed of lus—"
"No! Shine and I were together long ago, I just didn't say it because it was awkward before. We just got into misunderstandings so you know…"
"What do we know? That Shine is some kind of slut?" Sapie said irritably.
"Sapie, please don't be like that…" Cloud said. "The person you're saying slut is the person I love." Cloud sounds annoyed.
"Let's not talk about the two of you, it's already done. Shine already destroyed a relationship because of what she and Red did."
"What do you mean?" they simultaneously asked.
"Red and Rackie broke up," I replied. "Rackie found out the activities that you do behind her back."
"You're disgusting, Shine," Sapie commented.
"Shine has a sex addiction," Cloud said and peek at the pregnant woman near him.
"I see... but, inevitably, Rackie is already hurt from what they've done especially from what you did, Red!" I said with annoyance.
"Wait, I just noticed… why you are so mad?" Sapie asked.
"It's annoying, why?" I replied. I sighed. "I saw Rackie yesterday and I'm guilty of all the things I've said to her and then I found out that they broke up."
"What did you say to her?" they asked.
"I confessed!" I proudly said but the truth is I'm just kidding. I saw how Red's reaction changed which made me grin. "I said that I lik—" Red pulled my collar and his face turn red from anger. "I like Paint, her sister. She smiled at me sweetly as if the betrayal of you didn't happen." I said straight to his eyes. "I even joke at her then I don't have any idea that my friend was a jerk. What a shame! I wasn't able to be there for her and tell her that I'm going to punch the guy who broke her heart. I'm so guilty!" he let me go and sat down again. "I'm going out," I said to them.
"Huh? Where are you going?" Cloud asks. "Hey, this is your house, how can you walk out?"
