Bab 187: I'm sorry

She didn't know why she did it, she didn't know why she kept looking. He hadn't called her so why did she keep looking at her phone. She wasn't even at home yet she kept staring at the door. This was not a romantic movie like she would ever be the heroine of a romantic movie. He wouldn't suddenly realize he wanted her when he had all the time in the world to stop her when she left.

"Are you sure you are focused on your prayer?" 

Charis turned around and gave a small smile to the older woman who was sitting on the pew behind her.

"Is it that obvious?" 

"What is it you hope to get from God?" She asked and Charis' head tilted to the side. 

"What makes you think I want something?"

"Don't you

?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Well, yes and no? I don't know what I want but I know I need something. You are older and wiser can I ask you something?" 

The older woman smiled and leaned forward, "do you speak in tongues?" Charis nodded.
