*boom* *falling vfx ( lol)*
"ugh", Thor grunted in pain trying to stand up on his feet.
"He could have at least warned me.", He complained to himself as he looked at the mess that Bifrost created. His eyes fell on his hammer a few meters away from him.
"Come here.", He commanded, raising his hand in its direction. Nothing happened. Thor was grateful that there was no one to watch this embarrassing scene. He silently walked up it and leaned down to pick it up. He was shocked to see that it did not move an inch. His brows lifted in frustration as he tried his all to lift the damned thing. Nothing changed.
"Haa haa", He looked at the sky with grudge filled eyes and he breathed out.
"HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO YOUR OWN SON?!!!!", He finally screamed aloud.
After taking his anger out by cursing his father, He sighed and started to walk in a random direction to find his location.
37 minutes later, some distance away.
Thor heard something coming toward him. He turned around to see a van coming ever closer. He narrowed his eyes when he realized that it was not stopping.
*crash*
He flew a few meters behind.
"Oh my god, i think i hit something.", He heard a shrill cry of a female freaking out before he lost consciousness.
Jane and Selvig quickly exited the van to look at the man that they ended up crashing into. Jean was so focused on reading the signals from the monitor that she forgot to look at the front while driving. She thought that no one would be present in this wilderness at this late hour.
Darcy too exited the van but after grabbing a first-aid kit.
"Is he fine?", Darcy asked, arriving beside them.
"Woah, that's quite a look.", She subconsciously ended up saying her thoughts out loud. It was a habit of hers.
"He's fine. At least from the outside but we should still take him to the hospital.", Selvig said after checking the man out. He did not see any new injuries on his giant body.
"You are right. He looks exactly like a Viking from the stories Selvig used to tell me in my childhood.", Jane muttered looking at the man.
He had ginger hair, a giant beard that was combed into smaller beads and a sizable pot belly and yet his body was built to fight. His legs and Hands were examples of that. He was handsome if you remove the belly and his massive beard. Even the scars on his body looked to be telling a tale.
As if Thor was able to tell that someone was bad mouthing him, he started to wake up.
"Umm, where.. where am i?", He muttered standing up.
"Are you okay?", Jean asked with a guilt filled voice since it was her fault.
"Huh? Yeah", He turned to look at her and nodded.
"Now tell me what this place is? Alfheim? Jotunheim? ", He said with a commanding voice.
"I think he ended up getting a concussion. We have to take him to the hospital.", Selvig said to the girls.
"What? You cannot compel the mighty-", *bzzz* Midway in his speech he got electrocuted and fell down on the ground.
Jane and Selvig turned to look at Darcy.
"What?.. He was freaking me out. He looks like a savage and he looked to be out of his mind. I got scared, okay? We are 2 helpless girls and an old man accompanying an Edgelord. I don't want to find out how it will end.", She said in a high tone trying to justify her actions due to their stares.
"Well next time when you make him unconscious, make sure to do it after he is in the car. Now hurry up and help me put him in the car.", Selvig complained before asking for help.
It took them 20 minutes to somehow put him in the car. After which, they were too tired to do any more exploration so they decided to return to their facility after dropping him at the hospital.

When Thor finally woke up from his slumber, he found himself surrounded by people on a bed in a confined place. Sharp objects were injected in his body connecting to some beeping instruments that did what only the Odin knows what.
"I just want a small blood sample", The doctor said not realizing the state of his patient.
"You dare", Thor screamed in fury as he rose up from the bed and removed needles from his body. He then realized that he was in different clothes. It angered him even more.
"You think you can live after trapping the son of Odin?", He said, grabbing the Doctor by his shoulders before lifting him up from the ground and throwing him up at one of the medical devices. Others quickly tried to stop him as he ran to the door with a furious expression on his face.
"You think that you can win against the mighty Thor by using the numerical advantage?"Around 5 people were trying to stop him from walking away by grabbing him. One of them was a nurse that grabbed his neck but due to the height difference ended up latching up on him.
Before he could flung them all away, one of the assistant doctors that was grabbing his legs quickly grabbed an injection and inserted it into Thor's ass.

Next morning
"We need to visit the place," Jane said, getting up from the Desk. It was in her personal facility. With the funds provided to her by the El Enterprise, She was able to build a state of the art research facility with all the instruments that she wanted for many years. It helped a lot in her research progress. She was very grateful for that.
"It won't change anything. The reading disappeared as soon as they appeared. It might have been a one in a chance error.", Selvig said, not a bit optimistic about the whole thing.
"What are you guys talking about?", Darcy asked, walking beside them.
"The Einstein- Rosen bridge.", Selvig casually remarked.
"What now?", Darcy asked back.
"A wormhole basically.", Jane sighed.
"Isn't she a science graduate?", Selvig asked in wonder.
"Political science.", Darcy added, looking at the giant screen on the side that was displaying results from last night's scans.
"She was the only applicant.", Jane answered after receiving a questionable stare from Selvig.
"Hey guys. I think you should see this.", Darcy said pointing at the screen.
"Oh my god.", Jane muttered looking at the images.
"How is this even possible?", 'How could someone survive an event like that?', Selvig thought to himself.
"I need to go to the hospital. I left something there.", Jane said, picking her jacket before leaving.
"I don't think meeting him would be the right choice after what he did at the hospital.", Selvig screamed from behind.

2 hours later
"Where could he have gone?"Jane was frustrated because now she had to search the whole of New Mexico for him.
"He could not have gone much far without being noticed due to his body size. Don't worry we will find him soon.", Darcy tried to make her less sad.
They entered the van and started to drive on the road.
"Where do you think we should start from?", Darcy asked.
"I don't know. You are right. He could not have gone far without money. Let's search nearby streets first.", Just then as if lady luck was shining on her, Jane saw the man entering the restaurant. She quickly parked the van at the nearest parking spot.
"What happened?", Selvig asked, sitting in the back.
"I found him. Let's go.", Jane said, getting out of the van. The duo followed a second later.

Inside the restaurant
"How many times do I have to tell you? We don't serve new customers unless they pay first. Only the regulars can dine first and pay later", The waitress frustratingly explained for the third time.
"Whatever you wish to have, I Thor Odinson will promise you to give once I get my hammer back. Gold?, Jewels, A chance to bear a demi-god child. Just give me food to replenish this mortal body.", Thor grumbled in his heavy voice.
"Hey, watch it Viking. No sexual harassment in my turf.", The man sitting at the counter warned noticing the commotion. Sure, Thor was a frightening sight at first glance but there were a lot of regular customers watching on the sidelines waiting to help the shop owner if a fight started.
Before Thor could say anything further, new customers arrived that attracted everyone's attention.
"Sorry for his rude behavior everyone. My friend is suffering from a concussion as you can see from his patient attire. He is very polite otherwise. Please give him what he likes to eat. I will pay for him. In fact, take our orders too.", Jane said with an embarrassed smile. Thankfully her group were a regular in this place so everyone nodded in understanding after glancing at Thor with eyes filled with pity. They all returned to their business after that.
"Thank you pretty maiden for your generosity. I shall forgive you for hitting me out of the blue.", He said after taking a seat at the table with the three.
"Pretty Maiden?", Jane giggled at that. His behavior was pretty funny due to his serious face.
"I don't know the names of you three folks. All that I can use to address you are your physical characteristics. Pretty Maiden, Brooding Man and the Devilish Pixie", He said with all sincerity before the food arrived.
Jane smirked and Darcy pouted before Jane said, "I guess you are right. We never had the opportunity to introduce ourselves. I am Jane Foster. An astrophysicist and this is my colleague and a long time family friend professor Erik Selvig and last but not least, she is Darcy, my assistant."
Thor nodded while stuffing his face with food.
"I guess we should eat first before we continue any further", Jane said with a wry smile.
As minutes passed the smile on their faces started to disappear. Thor did not stop eating for the next 2 hours. Everyone was looking shocked at their table as empty plates continued to pile up one after another.
"Hmm.. this drink is nice even though i would prefer alcohol instead. Another One!!!", He said, smashing the glass on the floor.
"Okay enough. That's enough for breakfast.", Jean said finally getting up from her seat and walking toward the counter. She was at the limits of her patience as she saw him eat up a month's worth of equipment funds in a single day. Thankfully they were not as poor as before. She paid for all the food including the broken glass before adding a large tip for any inconvenience.
Once they exited the shop, she turned to him.
"Why did you smash the glass on the floor?"
"Because it was good. I wanted more of it so I asked. Did I make some sort of mistake?", Thor asked, noticing the reactions.
"Yes, you did. You don't destroy the container that they give you the food and drinks in. That's common sense but I guess expecting you to know common sense would be wrong. You are not from here do you, Bruteface?", Darcy asked in a bored tone while walking beside him.
"Yes. I am from Asgard. I did not expect your realm to change so much since the last time I visited it.", Thor remarked while following Jane.
"Where are we going?"He asked while staring back at people that looked at their group on the street.
"To get you some new clothes. Anything that we have will not fit you so we have to buy some new ones.", Jane explained, glancing back at him.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I have decided to make some changes to the Norse gods from the MCU canon. I will address them as the story progresses. Now back to the topic of Thor. My version of Thor is a mixture of MCU Thor and the Mythology Thor. He was known to be a massive drinker and eater so i decided to give him a pot belly in the first appearance. His face is still that of Chris Hamsworth but there are scars on his face from the many battles he has fought.
Asgard is still much more advanced than earth and it looks almost (Keyword: almost) similar to the Movie version. My Thor is similar to the movie version emotionally as in he is kind and all but i decided to add some elements from the mythology too. As in he is more brutal, angry and vulgar than the movie version at the start.
He will go on a journey of self reflection to reclaim his hammer. It just doesn't make much sense to me on how he was able to become worthy of Mjolnir so easily in the movie. He did not change much from the start to finish. There should have been more prominent flaws in him at the start that he needed to fix before he could lift that hammer.
