Ava had said it was a monster, she was probably overreacting again, she should just get there and see for herself who the intruder was, it must be someone dangerous. The birds always had a way of sensing an ominous presence.

They came to a sudden halt and then the birds swirling around the intruder parted, her fox eyes centered on a pair of wings... wings? Then it must be a vampire.

He turned and at instinct, she growled dangerously, her fur silver hairs stood up. His eyes widened the moment he laid eyes on her, he was still as the wind and it got Yelena confused. Why was he looking at her like that?
