"Yes, you won and I'll keep to our end of the deal," She added with a slightly bitter tone, "Bowing to you," Persephone was already prepared to bow when Dahlia said to her. 

"You don't have to do that. I have respect for the crown and I don't think it proper for you to lose your dignity over a simple gamble. However, I won't take to you insulting my kind gently, after all, you humans are my progenitors," She hinted that it took a human and a witch to mate to produce bad blood. 

And with that, Dahlia left with Beatrice, followed by a hesitant Lily while Persephone looked on, her fists clenched in the sides.

How dare she? How dare she look down on her? How dare Dahlia pity her? She had no right, Persephone was furious. She would have preferred bowing to Dahlia, than the girl having mercy on her.
