Bab 65: No Turning Back For Her

Dahlia felt like her head was about to explode. Of all things she had expected her family to do, this wasn't one of them. What happened to the right to decide? She was highly disappointed in them - and very pissed off.

"Oh my God," Dahlia gasped, "I need to get out of here." She tried to sidestep him but Desmond grabbed her arm. 

"Dahlia, please, you can't ruin this," Desmond begged her," Your parents already worked hard for this, or are you really ready to be that vampire's bride? Being with me isn't that much better? Isn't that why you asked me to woo you?" He was desperate to make her stay.

"Oh, you asked him to woo him?" The annoying king Romulus picked up on that as expected, "You are quite an active woman, miss Dahlia."
