Bab 40: Chapter 040: Separation

<p>"My sun, you know, father will not grant your wish if you want me to draw my sword back."<br/><br/> "No... that... I mean. I... want to<br/> ... said, come on... let's.. go back.. to Maurice," said Esther weakly.<br/><br/>Grand Duke Eugene unknowingly released his sword until it fell after hearing his daughter's words.As far as she knew Esther was a woman who was very stubborn and firm in her convictions just like her late mother but suddenly changed her initial decision.<br/><br/>"What? Did I hear right?" said Grand Duke Eugene approaching his daughter who sat down covered in blood.<br/><br/>Esther immediately burst into tears there. All the tears that he had been holding back for years, she released them all.Grand Duke Eugene also seemed surprised because in his life, he had never seen his daughter cry like that.<br/><br/>"Let's go home, father. I want to leave that place immediately," Esther said quietly while crying.<br/><br/>Suddenly Esther let out a loud scream. "AAAAA... I'm a killer. I've got Anne killed. Anne died because of me, father. I... Never... Will... Ever.... Can... Forgive.. myself."<br/><br/>Grand Duke Eugene immediately hugged Esther tightly and affectionately. Even though Esther's body was now smelly and covered in blood, that didn't make Grand Duke Eugene feel disgusted. He tried to calm her down.<br/><br/>"Esther, my dear sister, you know. It will be difficult for me to help you since your magic power has already been discovered.I can only help you by sentencing you to death," King Lucius said carefully.<br/><br/>Prince Livius glared at King Lucius. "What do you mean?"<br/><br/>"Don't get me wrong first. I mean, I will sentence Beatrice to death in private. Then I will announce Beatrice's death, and you can bring Esther back to the Nightingale Empire," explained King Lucius.<br/><br/> "I don't care about anything.The point is I will bring my sunshine back to our grand duchy," said Grand Duke Eugene.<br/><br/> "Before I go, could I meet Arthur first. I'd like to bid him farewell," said Esther.<br/><br/>"Fine, I will grant your last wish."<br/><br/>King Lucius immediately ordered one of the bodyguards outside the main palace to summon Arthur. Several tens of minutes later, Arthur came in a hurry. Without greeting his father who was the king, he immediately approached Esther.<br/><br/>"Mother, what has happened to you? Let's return to our palace. I will immediately treat you," said Arthur while wiping the blood on Esther's forehead with his handkerchief.<br/><br/> "You can't bring Beatrice back, Arthur. Beatrice will be subject to the death penalty for bewitching the crown prince. As you know Nightingale strongly condemns the existence of witches," King Lucius said firmly.<br/><br/>Arthur immediately stood up and walked over to King Lucius. "What do you mean, Your Majesty? Why did you punish my mother just because she bewitched the Crown Prince? How come all this time when Her Majesty the Queen tortured me when I became Crown Prince, she wasn't punished at all like you punished mother?"<br/><br/> "Come on, Arthur. You don't need to argue with your dad. Come here, come closer to me. I have something I want to say one last time."<br/><br/>Arthur walked back to Esther. When Arthur was near, Esther immediately embraced Arthur in her arms. She stroked Arthur's hair gently. Arthur even shed tears because he felt deja vu.<br/><br/> "Tiny, this is the last time we see each other. I'm sorry for not being able to keep my promise to always be with you. Before we part, I want to give you 3 messages. I hope you listen."<br/><br/>Arthur didn't reply to Esther's words, he just nodded his head.<br/><br/>"First, take good care of yourself. Don't forget to get enough rest and eat healthy food. I want you to live well in the future."<br/><br/> "Second, take the position of king of this kingdom. From the start it was yours. I'm sorry for taking that position away from you."<br/><br/>"Third, find a woman who can love you for who you are. Who can continue to love you forever and replace my duty to love you,"<br/><br/>Esther let go of Arthur's embrace and stared at him intensely. "Bye Tiny. Remember to live happily even without me."<br/><br/>"Please take Arthur away from here, Lucius!" she shouted.<br/><br/>"Get Prince Arthur away from here!" ordered King Lucius.<br/><br/>The Knights came to take Arthur away. Arthur continued to rebel but whatever power, the number of knights was more than that so he was successfully taken out of there.<br/><br/>After Arthur left, Grand Duke Eugene tried to support Esther who was very weak. Now is the time for Esther, Grand Duke Eugene, and Crown Prince Livius to return to their Empire. And this is the time for Esther to go away from all her nightmares to recover her body and mental condition which has been shaken for years. </p>
